What separates a regular, plain Jane graphic image, from a sale grabbing image? Has any one managed to answer this question, even asking the question in the first place? Or is designing a graphic image just a process of artistic or mechanical processes based on the graphic artist learned techniques of style? Being that I was in a few marketing programs over the years, I came to realize that many of the internet marketing advertisements used online and else where adopt a system of playing with words to trigger a individuals hot buttons that has an impact on the reader.

No matter how many gurus you ask, you will always get a different answer to this question: how do I reduce my Adwords campaigns and max out earning potential? Some experts will say that the best way to optimize your campaigns is to bid on high amounts of keywords in hope to get many clicks. This is a totally false direction, and will definitely break your budget. The optimal way that’s always working for me is to research my keywords for 90% of my daily “work” time, and then use the 10% to set up a campaign.

Got a great website in a highly competitive market? PPC can work for you, but at what cost? Many keyword markets are so saturated with advertisers it can be difficult to see a positive return on investment. Why not let all those bidders pay what they will and think outside the box? Many times there are very few players in the same markets using print or broadcast to drive traffic. This works great with direct response ads selling products.

Why wait for users to search for your keywords? In fact a disproportionate number of search queries for many prized keywords are nothing more than other web marketers checking out the landscape. Don’t wait for your customers to come looking for you, instead get out in front of them. For this method to work it is essential that your domain name be easy to remember and reasonably logical.

Stay away from long hard to remember or type keyword rich domain names. Keep it simple and to the point. Use simple words easy to remember possibly combined with your main keyword. Go, get, buy, ,my, your, online, etc. and many other words are simple to the point words that can easily help to find good domain names. Think in terms of users being able to, at the very least, being able to remember your url long enough to walk in the other room and type it in correctly. Ideally they could see your url on a billboard and remember it next time they are online.

Take a step back and see if this can work for your business. In fact you could even have a url without content that redirects to another less memorable url with good converting content. This could even be an affiliate site with your tracking url that nobody would be expected to type in.

Google Adsense Page Positioning

I talked to countless people that have great traffic, some with 300 to 1000 new visitors a day that say that they only make approx. at max $10 to $20 dollars a month on the adsense program. What a shame. But when I look at their websites the ads are either buried in wording that no one usually pays attention to or the ads are located in positions that just don’t call any attention to their presence.
